Travelog 14: Finding the light.

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.

My last travel log was dated 19th May.
Today is 8th September.

Sigh.

Sigh.

Khair, I admit. I've been in travels but hadn't the time to write.
Skipping from a bus to another.
Seeing the world, well, at least around Selangor and KL.
Still haven't have the time to write.

But yesterday, I woke up from a dream.

So I went out, accidentally met Fatin Husna and Nurin Izzati at the front gate of CFS,
and we boarded together. We got separated at the University station as they took their time buying their token while I had my Touch N Go card in my Quran.

Stepped into the usual LRT, gazing the scenery, as usual.
The busy traffic, the sky, the birds.
The trees, which are green as usual.
Calm and tranquility... If it is translated by just the view, not the noise.

I was planning to go to Masjid Muadz bin Jabal at Setiawangsa,
but I had to make a pit stop at the Main Campus, IIUM Gombak to deliver my seniors graduating transcript.

Arrived at Gombak station, hopped on a cab and there was me.
A niqabi with a backpack.

The cab fees was RM6.40 by the way.
The bus will only cost you RM1.00.
I was in a rush.

I walked to my usual beloved place.
Sultan Alam Shah Mosque.
The place where I had the chance to see Habib Ali al-Jufri for the first time.

AllahuALLAH.

I waited for a while, went to another place I needed to go, that is a secret.
Went back to the mosque, met Nur Anis and had a chat.

And she gave me something.
Anis, I just had the time to open it now.
When you mentioned it earlier, I thought it was the writings.

Nur Anis binti Azmi,
Thank you.
For the gift and everything.
InsyaALLAH, I will use it only for a good cause, for my study.
I can't repay you in any way by any mean, may Allah bless.

So I stepped out of the mosque, to the front and hopped into yet another cab.
Yes, I was in a rush.
Why?

Well, this:

Habib Ali Zaenal Abidin will be there insyaAllah.
And only Allah knows how much is my love for Maulid.

For a fee of RM13.00, I arrived at Masjid Muadz bin Jabal.
And it was the perfect time for Isya'.
I went into the mosque to perform the prayer and waited inside, the first row of muslimat, for Maulid to begin.
I was with another dear friend, Fatin Nuradilah.

As usual, the jam'ah will recite Ratibul Haddad together.

At the end of the Ratib, Habib came in.

AllahuALLAH.

For a whole month of Ramadhan I haven't seen him.
It was nice, that feeling.
To meet someone you long to see.
Will I, have the chance to see Habibuna Muhammad s.a.w?

InsyaAllah. Allahumma amin.

The Maulid began.

It was, speechless.
One who never been there, will never feel whatever I felt.

So we stayed until 12 midnight and went to shop for a Qasidah CD and Fatin bought a rida' for Syeikhuna, Ustaz Muhadir. The rida' definitely gained a lot of attention from the muslimeen but we managed to buy it :D

We walked around, and finally hopped into a cab.
This time it was RM25.65 from there to IIUM Gombak.
p.s: The after-midnight fees will be doubled.

We got separated and went to sleep in our respective seniors dorm.
Syukran sis Najihah for accepting me as a guest.

The next morning, I woke up and took a walk around the campus.
Back to Sultan Alam Shah Mosque, stayed until Zohr.
Met Nur Anis again and walked to the front.

Boarded a bus to Kuala Lumpur.
I stayed, watched the view until the last stop.
While listening to the Maulid the night before.
I lost count of how many mosque that caught my eyes.
Subhanallah.

Walked around the city and went to the Central.
Boarded into U65 and arrived at Alam Megah.

The journey was easy, alhamdulillah, but the memory was precious.

I don't know whether it is because of me, or because of the time I hadn't write any log that this one is too short for me. Have I lost my vocabulary?

Sigh.

Sigh.

I am currently, doing something that I don't... kind of... like it.
And it had affected my feelings.

Sigh.

I'll write about it, insyaAllah.
Just... not now.

Allahua'lam.
