Assalamualaikum w.b.t. "Kalau ana nak baca al-Quran 40 kali, ana lihat langit." Sungguhpun sering berbuat begitu, tapi ana tidak pernah meluahkan. Tidak ana katakan, tidak pula berniat menyimpan. Hinggalah sekarang ana teringat kata-kata sendiri. Ana melihat langit.

Love letter,

Assalamualaikum w.b.t. This one, is for my family, teachers, and friends. To ami and abah, how could I express my apologize? For everything that I made that might hurt each of you. For the times I thought, I was alone but both of you are still there. Raising me up, to more than I can be. To Kika, Anith, Syahmi and Danish, how could I express my love? When people stared because of my niqab, you guys walked besides me. Trusted me for my choice. And you never complaint. How could I ask for more? To Acik, Dania, Danial, Adriana and Akif, it was hard to accept at first. But then, you are my family. I never thought I would have a huge family as I do now. And yes, I would never can thank you much. To Mak, what can I say? Mak dah besarkan Kira. You where there, everytime, everywhere. Siapa ambil Kira punya report card? Siapa masak untuk Kira? Siapa teman Kira pergi sekolah? Who else knows what I like and what I don't like?...

I don't know.

Assalamualaikum w.b.t. I don't know... yet. Istikharah sudah, petunjuk mungkin. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Pada jalan berliku, moga Allah luruskan langkahku. Tika langit dunia di sana runtuh, moga Allah teguhkan akidahku. Jika kesusahan datang, moga Allah kuatkan hatiku. Been there. Done that. You've seen me, and as I promised to myself, those who saw, will be my friend forever after. Wallahua'alam.

Travel log 7.

Assalamualaikum w.b.t. I asked, and someone replied: "It is all right for a woman to travel alone, but it is afraid that fitnah would occur." I travelled to my kampung (village) on Saturday and back to CFS. I travelled to Masjid Jamek on Sunday and back to CFS. Here is the log. Saturday. I woke up around 5 a.m and planned my day. I was suppose to depart at 7 as my older sisters' train from Perlis would arrive by then. But I was stalled by something. I logged in to my Skype account that morning with an intention of deleting it. Because I still have brothers in my Skype account though I barely chat with any of them. So I thought it would be pointless for me to have an account, but that morning; I received many late messages. I had realised that the WiFi connection here in CFS is not as good as usual, and sometimes it limits the connection. But I hadn't realised it would be that bad. I received messages from days before. I created my Skype acco...

Assalamualaikum w.b.t. Pagi tadi di kelas, ber"bahas" tentang nama. Husna: Kenapa guna Umairah? Kan tak ada makna. UH: Ada sejarahnya. *senyum* Inani tahu kan? Inani: Apa ya? Saya dah tak ingat. UH: Inani tak ingat? *sedih* Aini: Kenapa tak Amirah, kan maksudnya ratu. UH: Bukan ratu tapi puteri. Huhu. Aini: Ya la, tapi kan elok ada maksud. UH: Tapi kita lagi suka orang panggil Hazwani. Aini: *senyum* Siapa ya yang panggil awak "Wani"? Terhenti dengan ketibaan Miss Rahimah binti Abdullah. Kelas pun bermula. Note: G stands for group and S stands for Section. Miss Rahimah menempah satu kotak blueberry cheese t...

Travel log 2.

Assalamualaikum w.b.t. “Setiap yang bernyawa pasti akan mati.” (al-Anbia’: 34) I woke up, and texted my mother. "Where are you guys now?" And she replied, "We are still at kampung, will board after noon." And I was speechless, I got a class at 2, and I'm still at Shah Alam. The night before, I was preparing to close the gift shop; the place where I lend a hand to work for a couple of days during Eid Adha as the workers all went to their respective villages. I was reading a book, when a customer, who was a beautiful young lady came in and ask, "Are you already closing?" I got weird, and said, "No." "Do you wrap presents?" she asked. "Yes," I replied. Then I realised that all the other shops were closed or preparing to close. The lady called her man and the next thing I saw was a huge unwrapped wedding gift being carried to the shop. Note: I never ever wrap a huge gift before. I didn't even know how to wra...

CFS 190

Assalamualaikum w.b.t Honestly, HONESTLY, I found that my previous font was, well, nice but almost unreadable. So I decided just to keep it simple. Not that people read these things of me writing an awful lot of stuffs anyway. Friends and foes, I have a story to tell. Do not complaint, as this is my blog you looking at. On the 11th of July 2010, we, my friends and I, almost the whole batch of SPM '10 went to Masjid al-Munawwarah for a Qiam programme. I never cry during a programme like this. But last year, it was different. One of my friend just lost his father. I knew that Aisyah is an orphan, Nik also. But I never thought much about it. Until that time, the importance of parents really hit me. I was raised, practically by my family. My grandmother, my mother's mother, took care of me during most of my childhood. My elder sister was sometimes sick, and my younger sister was just one year apart from me. And there was me, in the middle of everything. I lost...

The three of us,

Assalamualaikum w.b.t. Little did I know, that packing bags alone is a real life torture. I feel like to cry every second of it. I am alone, in my dorm. My only roommate left, she's heading back to Kedah. It is not the same, when you were left alone while your roommates went to the city to shop with friends. It is not the same, when you were left alone while your roommates have classes. It is not the same, because, the stuffs are still there. You know they'll come back. This time, I am alone. No one is coming back. I never say anything about Aimi leaving to Egypt, ain't it? I was completely sad. And I kept it inside. Let's rewind. Back in the day, when all of Engineering students have to register to CFS, I came here wearing white hijab, no niqab, purple baju kurung and black shoes. The shoes that I wear everyday to classes. I always like lavender, that's why I wear that baju kurung even though it is an old one. With my...
